Endoscopy

Respiratory diseases such as nasal discharges, nose bleeds and coughs can be difficult to diagnose due to the hidden depths of the equine head!

Using an ultra narrow endoscope capable of reaching down into the lower airways the investigation of both upper respiratory and lower respiratory problems is possible.  In combination with a laptop enabled camera, a dynamic image of the airways is possible.

The endoscope can also used to investigate bladder abnormalities and uterine problems.
